This week, our benches are covered in the usual suspects – chisels that just need a light touch, proto-types being tested, a lot of sawdust and the odd wax stick. Nothing flashy, just work in progress….
And occasionally…something a little different.
Over the holidays, Toby tried his hand at Lutherism (not sure that’s even a word or is it a religion?). Repairing 2 second-hand guitars – swapping out machine heads on one and regluing the headstock to the neck, lacquering the hand-painted artwork on the other, and restringing them both.
As you can see, he bloomin’ loved it.

Someone was saying “Hellooo…can you hear me?” Followed by “I’m sorry, I think you’ve got the wrong number.”In 1920, Prohibition began in the United States, Alcohol was banned but funnily enough, drinking increased.
