Good only for large kitchen knives. Useless for smaller knives. Magnets which hold blade in proper orientation are too strong. Prefer a lighter touch. Tiring to battle magnets while sliding knife against “stone”. Inadequate for my purposes.

Thanks for your feedback. We understand that getting used to the KS, especially with smaller knives, can take some practice. Many users find that after a short learning curve, they achieve excellent results across various knife sizes. The easiest way to reduce the coefficient of friction between the magnets and the side of the knife is to wet the blade before sharpening That said, we truly appreciate your input, coupled with our mantra of “Continuously improving our products” we’re already working on further iterations to improve the ease of use across all knife sizes. If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to reach out.
